ICT Centre Locations

The Queensland Centre for Advanced Technologies (QCAT) is a joint venture between CSIRO and the Queensland Government. It is a multi-divisional research site where innovative solutions for the mining, manufacturing and energy sectors are produced.

The campus of The Australian National University is home to the Canberra-based staff of CSIRO Mathematical and Information Sciences and CSIRO ICT Centre.

The Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC) is the largest national research facility applying information and communication technologies (ICT) to improving health services and clinical treatment for all Australians.

CSIRO's Hobart laboratories provide research into sustainable marine resources and industries, climate, weather and ocean prediction, integrated coastal and oceans management as well as health and sustainable energy use.

The Centre for Environment and Life Sciences draws together the capabilities of seven CSIRO research areas to provide solutions to environmental management problems and to improve the health of Australians.

On CSIRO’s Marsfield site are the headquarters of the CSIRO ICT Centre and CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science (formerly the Australia Telescope National Facility, ATNF).
