Location summary
Located adjacent to Monash University and the Australian Synchrotron, CSIRO’s Clayton site is part of a growing research hub. Clayton is a suburb of Melbourne, the capital city of the state of Victoria, and is about 25 km south-east of centre of the city of Melbourne.
More than 800 staff members work at Clayton on projects designed to benefit the community and industries, including:

The CSIRO National Enquiries Centre at Clayton connects Australian and international enquirers to CSIRO research and activities.
