CSIRO's Division of Earth Science and Resource Engineering (CESRE) is one of 15 research divisions within CSIRO. The divisions perform large-scale, long-term, multidisplinary science to address Australia's major science challenges.
CESRE provides science and engineering solutions for the continuing growth of Australia's resource industry whilst delivering benefits to the economy, society and the environment.
The division's major strength is its capacity to bring together multidisciplinary teams to address complex problems within the resources industry.
Our research capability is spread across four research programs:
- Mineral System Science
- Mining Science and Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
- Petroleum Geoscience.
Our research groups collaborate with universities, government agencies and industry - both Australian and international - as well as with other CSIRO divisions.
CESRE's capability, state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities are located across Australia in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne.
Working with CESRE will give you the opportunity to conduct first class science with cutting edge instrumentation and technologies to deliver benefits to both industry and community.
